 Ed, Melissa and their children loved their annual summer trip to a wonderful old house on a lake.  Recently the home’s owners called Ed and Melissa and said they were putting the lake house up for sale – and would Ed and Melissa like to consider making an offer before they listed it?  The family was ecstatic at the prospect of making the house their very own vacation home, but since they lived in another state, they weren’t sure how to pursue their dream.

 I’d helped Ed and Melissa purchase their house five years ago, and they called me to discuss how they might go about buying an out-of-state property.  I belong to a national organization of real estate and lending professionals, so I referred them to a Realtor colleague who worked in that community and he assisted them with the purchase.  Now the family can spend time together at their very own vacation home for years to come.
