REO Horror Story: Dirty Laundry
Sunday, April 20, 2008
It takes quite a bit to ruffle the feathers of veteran REO agent Jenni Ruiz with JS Ruiz Realty, Inc., in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ruiz realized this when she recently walked into a property and found the basement flooded and a clothing dryer floating over a few feet of water.
“I've seen a lot of strange things,” Ruiz says. “I really wasn't shocked, that's probably the funniest part about it. I thought, 'Oh God, I've got a floating dryer.' ”
Ruiz says Indianopolis recently had a great deal of rain, and she suspects something like a broken pipe or another malfunction caused the flood. Coincidentally, the water came back even after Ruiz's crew spent a great deal of time pumping it out
