Liniger, Perriello and Ramsey See Value in Investment
Some of the biggest names in real estate and personal finance addressed this year’s STAR POWER Conference with a unifying theme: real estate is on sale and investors are needed. As an agent, do you engage real estate investors? Do you focus on them for part of your business? What would an influx of real estate investors mean for your business and your clients … distressed and otherwise?
“Investors are going to come to our market because investors are very interested because you can buy, pay cash and hold and get the upside somewhere down the line,” Dave Liniger, chairman and co-founder of RE/MAX, LLC, said. “So, you agents who are dealing with distressed properties, the tax incentives are gone but the investors are still there.”
Alex Perriello, CEO of Realogy Franchise Group, spoke directly to the agents in the audience, adding: “Why don’t you take things into your own hands? I can’t think of a better strategy right now than buying property … for investment.”
In addition, during his highly anticipated keynote address, bestselling author and nationally syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey reinforced his real estate roots and perspectives on today’s market: “Over the past 18 months I’ve been buying real estate … I used to buy and sell foreclosures, but I’ve never seen deals like today.”
The support for real estate investment and engaging investors is widespread. Today there is an unprecedented opportunity to assist real estate investors, boost your business, and even provide solutions for homeowners who desperately need them.
So, ask yourself, where do you and your business stand when it comes to real estate investors? Could it be better?
