Addison, Texas-based law firm Barrett, Daffin, Frappier, Turner & Engel said Tuesday that the firm has helped 10,000 homeowners remain in their homes since November of last year.

Through loan modifications, the law firm was able to help the mortgage servicing community increase loss mitigation efforts—a task that resulted in 10,000 residents being spared the pain of losing their homes. The loans pooled together are valued at $1.6 billion.
